On November 28, the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) released the "National Reimbursement Drug List (NRDL) for Basic Medical Insurance, Work-Related Injury Insurance, and Maternity Insurance (2024)". JumpCan Pharmaceutical's Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Syrup (K-tonpei) and Fexofenadine Hydrochloride for Suspension (Minfeile) were newly added to the list through medical insurance negotiations. Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Syrup (K-tonpei) is a Category 2.2 new TCM drug approved for marketing in November 2023. It is the first improved TCM drug launched since the implementation of the new Drug Registration Management Measures. Fexofenadine Hydrochloride for Suspension (Minfeile) was approved in June 2024 and is suitable for individuals aged six months and above. It is currently available in two strengths, 15mg and 30mg. Precise dosing instructions are provided for different age groups to guide rational medication use. The updated National Reimbursement Drug List will officially take effect on January 1, 2025. "New" is the keyword of this year's NRDL, with a total of 91 new drugs added, 90 of which were launched within the past five years. After this update, the total number of drugs in the list will increase to 3,159. During this year's negotiation/competitive bidding process, 117 drugs outside the list participated, with 89 successfully included, resulting in a success rate of 76% and an average price reduction of 63%, generally consistent with the 2023 outcomes.
