JumpCan Pharmaceutical's New Drugs Selected for the First Batch of the Jiangsu Province Innovative Drug and Device Product Catalogue
Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, in conjunction with the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Jiangsu Commission of Health, the Jiangsu Healthcare Security Administration, and the Jiangsu Medical Products Administration, released the first batch of the Jiangsu Province Innovative Drug and Device Product Catalogue (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue"). Two products were successfully included: K-tonpei (Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Syrup), a Class 2 improved new drug independently developed by JumpCan Pharmaceutical, and Jikeshu (Sebaloxavir Marboxil Tablets), a Class 1 innovative anti-influenza drug developed through a strategic collaboration. The technical advancement and clinical value of both products were fully recognized.
The Catalogue covers innovative drugs, improved new drugs, classical TCM compound preparations, and Class 2 and Class 3 innovative medical devices. It is designed to implement the Several Measures for Full-Chain Support of Innovative Drug Development in Jiangsu Province, promote faster hospital adoption of innovative drugs and devices, drive innovation and upgrading in the biopharmaceutical industry, and achieve high-quality development.
Jikeshu is a new-generation targeted inhibitor of influenza virus RNA polymerase PA. JumpCan Pharmaceutical entered into a strategic collaboration with Zenshine Pharmaceuticals for this innovative drug, granting JumpCan exclusive promotion and sales rights for Jikeshu in mainland China. Its "single oral dose, full-course efficacy" dosing regimen is expected to provide influenza patients with the experience of "one dose for lasting relief, fever resolved in one day, and peace of mind in use."
K-tonpei (Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Syrup) is the first improved new TCM drug approved under the new Provisions for Drug Registration, upgraded from Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Granules (Tonpei). The syrup formulation improves convenience and patient compliance through process optimization, with clinical trials confirming non-inferiority to the original formulation.
JumpCan Pharmaceutical has consistently placed scientific and technological innovation at the strategic level.
