Fighting the Flu with a Single Dose — JumpCan's Innovative Anti-Influenza Drug Jikeshu Shines at the VAS Forum

2025.11.29

From November 26 to 27, the "China Drugstore Business College VAS Forum" was grandly held in Guangdong Province. Co-organized by the Chain Pharmacy and Clinic Professional Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Medical & Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber, China Drug Store, and the Guangdong Pharmaceutical Retail Industry Association, the forum brought together numerous experts, entrepreneurs, and industry elites from the pharmaceutical sector and the private-domain livestreaming space to explore new ideas, pathways, and solutions for achieving steady growth.

The "Jikeshu Innovative Anti-Influenza Drug: 1-Dose Launch Event" — a key component of the forum — drew widespread attention from attendees. Jikeshu (Sebaloxavir Marboxil Tablets) is a new-generation targeted inhibitor of influenza virus RNA polymerase PA. Clinical studies show that Jikeshu has a long half-life and high plasma exposure, supporting a single-dose, full-course treatment regimen with no need for weight-based dose adjustment, making administration more convenient and providing lasting health protection. After administration, peak plasma concentration is reached within 3 hours, enabling rapid onset of action, fever reduction within 1 day, significant improvement of all influenza symptoms within 39.4 hours, rapid viral clearance, and shortened disease course. The incidence of adverse events is low; the drug is primarily metabolized via non-CYP enzyme pathways, resulting in a low risk of drug interactions. The "single oral dose, full-course efficacy" dosing regimen is expected to provide influenza patients with the experience of "one dose for lasting relief, fever resolved in one day, and peace of mind in use."

JumpCan Pharmaceutical and Zenshine Pharmaceuticals entered into a strategic collaboration regarding Jikeshu in 2023. JumpCan Pharmaceutical holds exclusive promotion and sales rights for Jikeshu in mainland China. In July this year, Jikeshu received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and was subsequently launched on JD Health for its market debut, further enhancing the accessibility and convenience of Jikeshu in anti-influenza treatment. In November, Jikeshu was included in the latest edition of the rational use of antiviral drugs for influenza as one of the recommended treatments for both influenza A and B, with its innovation and clinical value receiving professional recognition.

JumpCan Pharmaceutical's participation in the VAS Forum and the launch event for Jikeshu represent both a practical implementation of the company's "Customer-Centricity" philosophy and a key strategic initiative to expand into the retail terminal market. Going forward, JumpCan Pharmaceutical will accelerate the implementation of its new retail strategy, deepen its digital marketing ecosystem, explore new models of customer service, and use more high-quality products and services to meet the healthcare needs of the public — contributing the strength of a national pharmaceutical enterprise to the goal of universal health.
